I come from a family with generations of very good teachers. But through my own schooling experience, I have come to find a narrowness in the methods of learning adopted in our present schooling system. Course and tools of study are syllabus oriented most of the time. Classrooms deliver information just enough to cover up the syllabus and get through examinations. I teach so that I can assist a student to be able to look over these brick walls and expand his/her horizon. Syllabus is important but it is a small part of what I offer. It is a meticulously designed program aimed at covering all aspects of learning and inculcating a habit of seeking knowledge rather than information in the students. I have worked as an officer for Govt of India for over 6 years, I left my job to pursue a life of passion and it brings me to teaching.
